OBJECTIVE

To provide comprehensive services for the registration and licensing of a new business entity, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, thereby establishing a legal foundation for the business, protecting the owner’s personal assets, enhancing credibility, and enabling lawful operations.

SERVICES PROVIDED

The following services will be performed by CFO Plus, LLC:

    1. Meet with the client to understand the nature of the business, its structure, and specific requirements.

    2. Provide an overview of the business registration and licensing process, including timelines, fees, and necessary documentation.and credit card statements monthly.

    3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    1. Assist in selecting an appropriate business name.

    2. Perform a name availability search to ensure the chosen name is unique and complies with local and state regulations.

    3. Reserve the business name with the appropriate authorities.

    1. Recommend the most suitable business structure (e.g., sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, limited liability company) based on the client’s needs and goals.

    2. Prepare and file the necessary formation documents, such as Articles of Incorporation or Organization, with the relevant state or local government agency.

    1. Assist in obtaining an Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for tax purposes.

    1. Identify the specific state and local licenses, permits, and registrations required for the business type and location.

    2. Prepare and submit all necessary applications for state and local business licenses.

    3. Coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure timely approval and issuance of licenses.

    1. Assist in registering for any required state and local taxes (e.g., sales tax, payroll tax) and obtaining necessary permits (e.g., health permits, zoning permits).

    2. Provide guidance on compliance with ongoing regulatory requirements, including annual filings, renewals, and reporting obligations.

    1. Prepare a comprehensive document package for the client, including all filed documents, receipts, confirmations, and relevant correspondence.

    2. Set up a filing system for future use, ensuring easy access and compliance with retention requirements.

    1. Provide ongoing support for any follow-up requirements related to business registration and licensing.

    2. Offer advisory services for any future modifications or expansions, such as changes in business structure, location, or activities.

TIMELINE

The estimated timeline for completing the business registration and licensing process is 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the business structure and the processing times of the relevant authorities.

ASSUMPTIONS

  • The client will provide all necessary information and documentation promptly.

  • Any delays in processing by governmental authorities are outside the control of CFO Plus, LLC.

EXCLUSIONS

  • Legal advice beyond business registration and licensing.

  • Any additional services outside the scope described above will be provided at an additional cost, subject to client approval.
